Saharsa : The death of Bhojpuri film actor Mohd Junaid alias Rocky on September 15, 2017, at Saharsa has taken a new turn with his father Mohd Shamshad alias Lal Mian lodging an FIR with Sadar Police Station, Saharsa, on September 20 charging three named accused: Mohd Abu Bakr alias Munna, Mohd Owais alias Chunna and Mohd Imran alias Laddan, with killing his son.

Shamshad alleged that the three accused had hatched a conspiracy to kill Rocky. He alleged that the accused had threatened Rocky with dire consequencea few days back. Rocky had acted in `Bhojpuria Badshah’.

Rocky, a resident of Saharsa Busti, drowned to death in a pond at Dumrail on September 15. Mohd Shamshad, in a complaint lodged with police, alleged that Rocky had left home with Mohd Sahzad and Mohd Almin, who had reached his residence on September 15 on a bike, but after sometime his family received information that he had drowned in a pond. When Rocky’s kin reached the place of occurrence, they found him lying unconscious on the ground. They rushed Rocky to Narayan Hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.

SHO, Sadar Police Station, Bhai Bharat, said that earlier police had lodged an UD ( unnatural death) case but now a murder case had been lodged. Police are investigating into the incident, the SHO said.
