W Champaran DM asks Tech. Committee members to make field visit

Bettiah : DM, West Champaran, Nilesh Ramchandra Deore, on March 26, 2018, called a meeting of Technical Committee members  of the district to review various on going development works in the district.

The DDC, West Champaran, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Division 1 & 2, Valmikinagr Tiger Reserve (VTR), DCLRs of Bettiah, Bagaha, Narakatiaganj, Civil Surgeon, Executive Engineer, Bridge Construction Corporation, Building Construction Department (BCD) and all BDOs of the district attended the meeting.

The DM expressed his dissatisfaction over the performance of Executive Engineer, Bridge Construction Corporation and sought explanation from him in this regard. TheDM also sought explanations from BCD Engineer and Executive Officer of Nagar Parishad, Bettiah, and Bagaha.

DFO, Division 1, VTR, A Kumar, and DFO, Division 2, Gaurav Ojha, apprised the DM of the progress of schemes undertaken in VTR area and maintained that prior no objection certificate (NOC) is needed for certain schemes. The DM also asked the Technical Committee members to visit different areas inquire into the quality of works of on going schemes in the district and submit their inspection reports.
