Bagaha : A meeting of Bagaha -Paniyahawa NH 28B construction action committee was held at Madanpur government middle school on D0unday under chairmanship of Pramod Kumar alias Tejpratap Singh, former Mukhia of Valmikinagar in West Champaran district, to remove hurdles in the construction of NH 28 -B allegedly created by the Environment and forest department.

Many participants held Valmikinagar Tiger Reserve (VTR) officials responsible for the delay. They alleged that despite the approval for for the road cum rail track simultaneously connecting Uttar Pradesh in 1992, the road had not been constructed due to objections raised by VTR officials. Many speakers including Nandesh Pandey, Deepnarain Prasad, president, Tharu welfare federation, West Champaran, and Upendra Yadav criticised the attitude of VTR officials.
