VKSU VC takes step to ensure presence of teachers

Ara: Vice Chancellor (VC), Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, Leela Chand Sah has directed all the teaching, non-teaching employees and officers of all the colleges and the university to ensure all the departments and offices remain pen at least for six hours daily and remain present at their respective colleges, departments and university during office hours. The VC has said that dereliction of duty would not be tolerated and stern action might be taken against erring persons.

The VC said the office hours of the colleges and university is fixed from 10.30am to 4.30 pm daily and employees should remain at their office during the period. He has asked the teachers to remain present at their colleges or departments at least for five hours daily. Even Principals of the colleges should remain at their office and stay at headquarters in the interest of the institutions and students, the VC said. The VC said co-operation of each and every persons either employees including teachers, employees and officers was necessary for the all round development of colleges and university. He asked the Principals to ensure fair examinations at all levels and physically check the examinees at the gate of the examination halls. He also appealed the students to co-operate with them in holding fair examinations that would ultimately benefit them in future.
