Ara: Assam police recovered a boy kidnapped on May 23, 2016, from Sasaram when he was on way to his native village in Bhojpur district from Ranch from Guwahati on Friday morning. A team of Bhojpur police have rushed to Assam to bring the boy to Ara. The Assam police found the boy at Guwahati railway station loitering aimlessly and admitted him to the hospital and also informed his family members. On his return to Ara, it would be clear as to how he reached Assam and who had kidnapped him.

Shivam Kumar, 20, son of Raju Singh of village Mothi under Piro police station in Bhojpur district was returning to his village from Ranchi by a bus to his village on May 23since . When he reached near Lohia Chowk at Sasaram in Rohtas district, he suddenly disappeared and every effort to search him went in vain. After that his family received a threatening call on mobile on Wednesday last. The kidnappers told the boy’s family members that since they had voted in favour of District Board candidate Neelam Devi, wife of Lok Jantantrik Party state organizing secretary, Sunil Singh, they would have to face the consequence if she wins the election otherwise the boy would return safely by June 6.
