Ara: Action will be taken against the students who succeeded in getting admission into the Graduate and Post Graduate courses by submitting fake certificates.. Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara,  administration will start scrutiny of the certificates submitted by the students once the admission process is over by the end of August, 2016.

Vice Chancellor, VKSU, Leela Chand Sah said that he had received complaints that some students had got admissions in the graduate and post graduate courses by submitting fake caste and sports certificates and fake mark-sheet. It is a very serious matter and the VKSU administration has directed the respective college administrations to scrutinize the certificates and mark-sheets after admission process is complete, the VC said. He said legal action would be taken against students whose certificates are found fake and their admission will be cancelled. He advised the students to  maintain 75 % of attendance in classes otherwise they will be debarred from filling up examination forms.

The VC said that girls hostel on the campus of the VKSU will be renovated. The hostel will be provided with modern kitchen, wi-fi and generator facilities. Besides, tiles will be fitted on the floor of the hostel and a hostel superintendent quarters will also be constructed. Sah The VC further said that colleges had been asked to get themselves accredited with  NAAC otherwise their development will be adversely affected.

The VC has also directed all the affiliated colleges to follow rules in constituting their governing bodies. He said that the governing body of a college will have a Principal of the college, a people’s representative, a government representative, a donor, a teachers’ representative and a university representative.
