VKSU to adopt 5 villages, colleges under it to adopt 2 villages each : VC

Ara : Vice-Chancellor, Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, D P Tiwari, is determined to implement the directives of Bihar Governor cum Chancellor of the Universities. The VC, at a meeting with the Principals of the colleges, directed them not to the headquarters without permission from competent authority and warned of stern action against those leaving the headquarters without prior permission. He said that the teachers and non-teaching employees will have to take prior permission from their respective Principals while the Principals will have to take permission from the VKSU.

The VC also directed them to remain in their colleges at least five hours a day and insisted on implementation of biometric attendance. He said that the Principals of colleges would send the attendance of teachers and employees to the VKSU daily. The VC said that 7 of 17 constituent colleges under VKSU have not been linked with the NAAC and asked such colleges administration to submit SSR by March 30, 2019. The VC also drew attention of the Principals towards research and project works and directed them to submit reports of teachers related to research and project works of their respective colleges by March 30, 2019.

The VC also asked the principals to send pension related papers on time and the salary bills of teachers and non-teaching staffs by 20^th of every month. He also directed them to submit Mukhya Mantri Kanya Utthan forms at the earliest. He also said that every college would adopt two villages while the VKSU would adopt 5 villages.
