Amitabh Bachchan & Taapsse Pannu starrer ‘Badla’ emerges hit

Patna : Sujoy Ghosh directorial low budget crime thriller ‘Badla’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Amrita Singh, Tony Luke, and Manav Kaul has become one of the major hit films of 2019. Made on a budget of over Rs 30 crore, ‘Badla’ has done a business of over Rs 48 crore in 9 days across the country since its release on March 8, 2019. The film collected over Rs 6 crore on day 9.

Taapsee Pannu plays the role of a businesswoman in the film, who has emerged as  a suspect in the murder of her lover, while Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of her lawyer. This is their second film together after 2016 hit film ‘Pink’. ‘Badla’ is based on a Spanish film.
