Ara : On the complain of former Senator Ajay Kumar Tiwari alias Munmun, the Governor-cum chancellor has directed the Vice-Chancellor, Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, to inquire into the financial irregularities in different section. VC, VKSU, Sayyed Mumtajuddin, formed a three- member inquiry committee on May 16, 2017, and asked it to submit its report within 15 days.

Ajay Kumar Tiwari had complained to the Governor cum Chancellor of Universities that largescale financial irregularities were committed in appointment of Computer Operators, cleaning and  housekeeping through outsourcing in 2014-2015. He alleged misuse of about Rs. 5.6 crore and demanded thorough inquiry into the matter.

Meanwhile, a two- day IT software training programme was organized at Vigyan Bhawan on the campus of the VKSU from May 16, 2017 to May 17, 2017, under the National Education Mission, Government of India. Prof A Awasthi from IIT Mumbai imparted training to the students and even professors and Principals through power point presentation and advised them to be net friendly and understand their courses through internet.
