Patna : Vinay Kumar, a 2004 batch IPS officer and IG ( Headquarters), Bihar, has been appointed IG, Magadh Region, replacing Amit Lodha, a 1990 batch IPS officer, who has been shifted to Police Headquarters waiting for posting.
Harpreet Kaur, a 2009 batch IP officer and Commandant, Bihar Special Armed Police-5, Patna, has been transferred and appointed SSP,, Gaya, replacing Aditya Kumar, a 2011 batch IPS officer who has been shifted to police headquarters waiting for his posting.
The Home ( Police) department issued a notification to this effect on February 2, 2022.
