Ara : Hundreds of villagers blocked the road at Chandi Bazaar under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district on March 7, 2017, for about three hours in protest against death of a sand labourer under the wheel of a dumper on Monday near village Akhgaon under Chandi police station on March 6. They raised slogans against district administration and   were demanding Rs 10 lakh compensation for the dependents of the deceased. They lifted the blockade after positive assurance from the officials.

Ahmad alias Fariyad, son of Alim Khan of Khangaon, had gone to sand ghat as ever on March 6 too where he had some tiff with few people over the issue of overloading of sand. Suddenly,he came under the wheel of a dumper and died. Police reached there four hour after the incident and were allegedly convinced that such incident did not take place at the ghat and that Ahmad might have died at some other place.

Meanwhile, police recovered body of sand labourer from a ghat under Bihta police station in Patna district 18 hours after the incident. But, police showed ignorance about the identity of the deceased though villagers and family members claimed that the body was that of Ahmad.

  1. Hmm it looks like your blog ate my first comment (it was
super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I
wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to
the whole thing. Do you have any helpful hints for novice blog writers?

    I’d really appreciate it.
