Patna : The Home ( prisons) Department of Bihar government on February 20, 2017, transferred Superintendents of three divisional jails of the state. Superintendent of Sasaram divisional jail Vijay Kumar Arora, who hails from Patna district, has been shifted and made Superintendent, Central Jail, Buxar.
Superintendent, Divisional Jail, Saharsa, Sanjiv Kumar, who hails from West Champaran district, has been appointed Superintendent of Sasaram divisional jail. Superintendent, Divisional Jail, Saharsa, Surendra Kumar Gupta, who hails from Vaishali district, has been appointed Superintendent, Saharsa Divisional Jail. The Home ( prisons) department issued a notification to this effect on February 20. All the three officials have been directed to join their new places of posting immediately.
