Patna : India were 402/7 in their first innings in  the second session of the play on Day 2 of the 2nd test against West Indies (WI) at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jaimaca, on August 31, 2019, late night, with Hanuma Vihari batting on 105 in 209 balls hitting 16 fours, his first test century, and fast bowler Ishant Sharma unbeaten on 50 in 69 balls with 6 fours, his first test fifty. India has lot any wicket in 85 minutes of play in the second session.

Vihari and Ishant have so far added 100 runs for the 8th wicket. Vihari had also scored 93 in the 2nd innings of the 1st test. Ishant has been a revelation in this test handling fast bowlers including Kemar Roach and Jason Holder with ease. Ishant had also batted well in the 1st test.
