Varsity Registrars asked to inspect BEd colleges

Patna: The governor’s secretariat on November 29 directed the Registrar of all the universities to inspect BEd colleges under their respective jurisdiction and if they are not found up to send proposal for cancellation of affiliation granted to them.

They were given this direction at the meeting of Registrar of all the varsities held at Raj Bhavan. The Secretary of Governor ELSN Bala Prasad presided over the meeting. The meeting also reviewed the implementation of decisions taken at the last meeting. The Raj Bhavan also directed all the varsities to publish the details of the vocational courses being run by them in newspapers and also on their respective website. The universities were also asked to follow the academic calendar. The Registrars were also asked to ensure attendance of teachers and updating of university accounts.
