New Delhi : Indian Railways has planned to source about 1000 Mega Watt (MW) Solar Power and about 200 MW of wind power progressively by 2021-22. Altogether 201 MW (98 MW solar and 103 MW wind power) had already been set up till March 31, 2019. This information was given by Railways and Commerce & Industry Minister Piyush Goyal in written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha on December 6, 2019, according to a PIB release.
