Urban Development deptt team probes construction of three roads at Ara

Ara: A team of Urban Development and Housing Department led by oint secretary Bharat Jha, reached here on a two- day visit to inquire into the construction of three roads and drains by DUDA, Bhojpur, recently. The team reached here on the complain of  local MLA Anwar Alam who charged that construction of roads and drains was of poor quality and materials used for it were below standard. The investigating team inquired into the roads from Dharman Chowk to Gopali Chowk, Nala road to Arya Samaj Temple and also at Godana Road. The team measured the length and width of the roads and drains. It also dug the road about six inch and took sample of the new and old roads to be sent to the laboratory at Patna. The investigating team did not disclose anything regarding investigation  and said that the report would be submitted in the department.
