Patna : Buxar SP and an IPS officer of 2013 Rakesh Kumar was on September 28, 2018, transferred and appointed City SP, Muzaffarpr. City SP, Muzaffarpur, Upendra Nath Verma, also an IPS officer of 2013 batch, has replaced Rakesh Kumar as SP, Buxar.

Ms Lipi Singh, an IPS officer of 2016 batch and ASP (Probationer), Patna, has been appointed SDPO, Barh, in Patna district. Lipi Singh is daughter of JD(U) leader in Rajya Sabha R C P Sinha. Ashok Mishra, ASP ( Probationer), Muzaffarpur, has been appointed SDPO, Danapur. Home (police) Department, Bihar Government, issued notification regarding these 8 transfers on September 28 itself.
