Patna : Bangladesh were all out for 222 in 48.3 overs against India in the Asia Cup final match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai, on September 28, 2018, night, riding on a brilliant 121 in 117 ball with 12 fours and 2 sixes by opener Liton Das and 32 by his opening partner Mehidy Hasan. Bangladesh scored 65 runs in the first 10 overs ( power play).

Das and Mehidy Hasan added 120 runs for the first wicket. But, after that the middle order collapsed and only Soumya Sarkar could score 33. Sarkar was run out. Captain Mashrafe Mortaza scored 7 runs while wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim, who had score century against Pakistan just a few days back, fell to Kedar Jadhav for 5. Mohammad Mithun was run out for 2. In fact, three Bangladesh batsmen were run out in the match.

For India, Kuldeep Yadav took 3/45 in 10 overs while Kedar Jadhav took 2/41 in 9 overs. Yuzvendra Chahal and Jasprit Bumrah took one wicket each. India won the toss but opted to bowl.
