UPCC Chief Raj Babbar seeks votes for RLSP nominee from Purbi Champaran PC Akash

Motihari : UPCC President and noted cinestar Raj Babbar on April 27, 2019,  said that Congress President Rahul Gandhi is the only alternative to PM Narendra Modi to save our  culture and constitution.

Addressing an election meeting at Areraj in Purbi Champaran parliamentary constituency (PC) in East Champaran district, Raj Babbar said that Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and RJD Chief Lalu Prasad are the leaders  who have done a lot for the downtrodden, women, and other weaker sections of the society. Areraj is 35 km away from Motihari, headquarters of East Champaran district in North Bihar.

The Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) had allotted Purbi Champaran seat to Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) which has fielded Akash Kumar against BJP veteran and union agriculture minister  Radha Mahan Singh. Akash Kumar is the son of Akhilesh Prasad Singh, Congress Rajya Sabha Member and  state convener of  congress election committee.

Raj Babbar called upon the people to vote for Akash Kumar and assured them that he will participate in his victory rally at Motihari after the polls results are declared. Purbi Champaran PC will go to polls on May 12, 2019, along with Paschimi Champaran, Valmikinagar, and Sheohar PCs.

Senior Congress leader and incharge Bihar Shakti Singh Gohil said that the BJP is sensing defeat after the first three phases of Lok Sabha polls and said if his party is voted back to power at the centre the poorest persons will get Rs 72,000 per year under Nyuntam Aaye Yojana . He alleged that the Modi government has cheated the people for five years.

BPCC Chief Madan Mohan Jha said the closed sugar factory of Motihari was not opened even as PM Modi  had promised it at a public meeting at Motihari. ” This is the right time to change the government at the centre,” the BPCC chief said. Akhilesh Prasad Singh, MP, also addressed the meeting.
