Ara : UP police with the help of their Bhojpur counterpart recovered a kidnapped man Gyanchand alias Raja from a house at Zero Mile under Udwantnagar police station on September 15, 2017, morning, and also arrested two persons. The youth was kidnapped from Allahabad, UP, on September 12,night. Later, UP police took them to Allahabad.
The arrested persons were identified as Vikas Pandey alias Chhotu of village Malaur under Charpokhari police station and Chintu Pandey of Imadpur village under the same police station. They had kidnapped Gyanchand alias Raja, son of Ram Manohar of village Barao Kharikan under Karchhana police station, Allahabad, UP, on September 12, 2017, night. A named FIR was lodged with Kitganj police station, Allahabad, in this regard on the statement of the wife of Gyanchand.
SHO, Udwantnagar police station, said that Anjali, a professional dancer of Durg in Chhatisgarh, worked in an Orchestra Company. Bikas Pandey alias Chhotu of Malaur village under Charpokhari police station paid Anjali money in advance for her programme at his village on Dussehara but Gyanchand, owner of the Orchestra Company and husband of the dancer, did not like it and he booked for some other place. This angered Bikas Pandey and Chintu Pandey and they reached Allahabd on September 12 and kidnapped Gyanchand the same night.
