Patna: Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik on November 12, 2017, said that the next VC’s conference to be held soon will discuss ways to make University Sports event ‘ Eklavya’ and Cultural progrmme ‘ Tarang’ more attractive.
The Governor was addressing a function organised at Raj Bhavan to felicitate the members of ‘ Patna Pirates’, the winner of Pro-Kabbadi Championship. He said that one hundred stadiums had been constructed at Block level in Bihar so far while construction of another 187 stadiums was underway to promote sports in rural areas of Bihar.
The Governor congratulated the owner of Patna Pirates Rajesh Shah, Coach Ram Mehar Singh and Captain Pradip Narwal on winning the Pro-Kabaddi Championship for the third time bringing glory to Bihar. Art, Culture and Youth Affair Minister Krishna KUmar Rishi and Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh and Patna Mayor Sita Sahu also addressed the function.
