Buxar : Two youths drowned in river Ganga at about 11am on April 12, 2017, at Bees Dera Ghat under Simari police station in Buxar district. The bodies of the youth are yet to be fished out. They were identified as Abhimanyu Dubey, 21, son of Binod Dubey, and Lali Gond, 18, son of Ram Ji Prasad.
SHO, Simari Police Station, Sudhir Kumar, said that both the youth along with others had come to Bees Dera Ghat on the bank of river Ganga to perform the last rites of Ram Jag Dubey, 70, of village Khandhara Pandeypur under Simari police station on April 12. After the last rites, all the persons were taking bath including thee two youth. But the two youth were trapped in the current of the river.
