Saharsa : Sitaram Chaudhary and Naresh Yadav, both traders, were shot at and injured by unidentified criminals in separate incidents under Bihra police station (PS) in Saharsa district on March 5, 2019, night, to loot cash from them. Both were rushed to the local hospitals and are under treatment. Police are conducting raids to arrest criminals involved in both the incident.

Sitaram Chaudhary, a resident of village Bijlipur, was shot at and injured by criminals, who were waiting for him,  when he was returning home after closing his shop after he refused to give cash to them and resisted their loot bid.

Naresh Yadav, a resident of Bhatrandha in Madhepura district, was shot at injured by three bike borne criminals at village Khonha when he was going to Saharsa from Pachgachia to bring wedding cards of one of his clients. The criminals also looted Rs 20,000 cash from him. Naresh Yadav runs a printing press near Pachgachhia railway station.

SHO, Bihra police station, Ranvir Kumar, said that police would arrest the criminals soon.
