Two shot dead at Bhojpur village

Ara: Two persons were shot dead on the outskirts of village Belaur under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district around 10 pm on Tuesday.  Later, police brought the bodies to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An FIR has been lodged with Udwantnagar police station but no arrest has so far been made in this regard.

The SHO Udwantnagar police station said that some miscreants allegedly owing allegiance to Ranjeet Chaudhary gang shot dead Umesh Chaudhary alias Thotha and his son Manish Chaudhary on sthe outskirt of Belaur village around 10 pm on Tuesday when they were working in their field. Umesh Chaudhary was is said to be a strong supporter of Butan Chaudhary, who is lodged in Ara jail.

Ranjeet Chaudhary and Butan Chaudhary have long standing enmity over supremacy in the area and over half a dozen persons have been killed so far from both the sides.
