Patna : Two persons received bullet injuries in a clash between two groups over a trivial at village Ranipur Neemtal under Mehndiganj police station (PS) in Patna district at around 9 pm on August 26, 2018. The injured Surendra alias Sekan, 41, and Ajay Kumar, 22, were rushed to NMCH from where the doctors referred them to PMCHh in view of their critical condition.
SHO, Mehndiganj PS, said that the reason behind the clash was yet to be ascertained. Police are conducting raids to arrest the two accused: Shravan Yadav and Vicky Kumar. Interestingly, the SHO said that the two accused did not have any criminal antecedent even as police seized 2 empty cartridges of locally made chinese pistol called Chinese 9mm from the place of occurrence. Police could not explain from where did the accused procure the arms.
