Sitamarhi : In a protracted land despite in a family a ‘Chacha- Bhatija’ (uncle and nephew) duo sustained gunshot injuries at village Parwaha under Parihar police station (PS) in Sitamarhi District in North Bihar on February 25, 2021. Both the sides reached the disputed plot carrying firearms and opened fire on each other. Both were admitted to a Nursing Home in Sitamarhi town. Police have arrested one person along with a countrymade pistol.
On February 23, 2021, night, Mahanth of a temple was shot dead by unidentified miscreants in Sitamarhi town. On February 24, 2021, a police Sub-Inspector Dinesh Ram and a liquor smuggler Ranjan Singh were killed during exchange of fire in an encounter at village Kuaari under Majorganj police station in Sitamarhi District.
