Two persons killed, one injured in Gulzarpur accident in Bhojpur

Ara : Two persons including a woman were killed and a woman seriously injured when a speeding Scorpio collided head on with a motorcycle near village Gulzarpur on Ara-Sahar main road under Sahar police station on August 9, 2019, late evening.

Police brought the bodies over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and referred the injured to Arwal. The deceased were identified as Jamil Ansari, 21, son of Shamsuddin Ansari of Sakari Khurd under Parasi police station in Arwal district and his sister-in-law (bhabhi) Parveen Khatoon alias Nargis, 20, wife of  Zia-ul-Ahmad while the injured was identified as Nargis’s sister Shahzadi Khatoon, wife of Suhail Ahmad of Ojha Bigaha.

SHO, Sahar police station, said that Jamil Ahmad had carried his sister-in-law Praveen Khatoon and her sister Shazadi Khatoon to Gadhani Madrassa on his bike on August 9, 2019, afternoon,  for the treatment of his sister-in-law (bhabhi). When they were returning on the motorcycle on August 9 late evening and reached near Gulzarpur on Ara-Sahar main road, a speeding Scorpio collided head-on with the motorcycle killing Jamil Ahmad and his sister-in-law Praveen Khatoon on the spot and injuring Shahzadi Khatoon seriously and escaped from the scene.
