Two named FIRs lodged in Bhojpur for violation of Model Code of Conduct

Ara : Named FIRs were lodged with Piro and Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district on March 14, 2019, against 11 persons and institutions including district presidents of two political parties in connection with alleged violation of Model Code of Conduct.

SDO, Piro, Sunil Kumar, said that during a visit to different places under Piro Sub-Division, he found posters, banners and wall writing on electric poles and public places of different political parties despite enforcement of Model Code of Conduct in view of the parliamentary elections. The SDO said that he lodged a named FIR with Piro police station against the District President, Congress, Triveni Singh, Block president, Lok Janshakti Party, Radheshyam Kesari, RJD leaders : Jitendra Kumar and Harshvardhan Singh. Besides, an FIR was also lodged with the police against Sharafat Chasma Ghar for violation of Model Code of Conduct.

Likewise, an FIR has been lodged with Sandesh police station against seven persons in connection with violation of Model Code of Conduct. Assistant Election Officer (AEO) cum Block Development Officer (BDO), Sandesh, Bindu Kumar lodged the FIR.

SHO, Sandesh Police Station, Sudeh Kumar said that the AEO during a visit to different places found banners, posters and wall writings of different political parties and so he lodged a named FIR against Lalloo Sah, Dr Abhishek Kumar, G S Vocational Training Centre, Genius Coaching Centre, Sandesh, Run Cross Tutorial, Sandesh, CPI(ML), Little Gopal, Akhgaw, National President, Bharatiya Kranti Veer Party, under the Public Property Defacement Act. .
