Munger: Both the named accused including Vikash in the murder of  Sarzan Yadav,42, resident of village Dakra Nala under Safiabad police station in Munger district, surrendered before the court on Saturday. The body of deceased was brought to Munger from  Patna after identification on Friday night.

Yadav, a small farmer and clerk employed by a brick klin owner, was abducted by some persons known to the family members of Yadav four days back. Police searched for the body in river Ganga on Wednesday  suspecting that he might have been killed by the abductors as alleged by his family members.However, on information that a body was lying beside the road near Bakhtiyarpur  in Patna district, police rushed there and took the body into its custody and after identification  informed Munger police.

Police had lodged an FIR against two named persons who had visited his house on June 7 evening and asked him to accompany for payent of some money. When Yadav did not return home on Wednesday, his family members suspected some foul play and informed the police, but the police did not accept her FIR, alleged the wife of the deceased. Police swung into action on the intrenvention of senior police officials of the district, sources said.
