Two more named accused in Ara trader murder case surrender

Ara : Two more named accused in Ara trader Krishna Kumar Singh alias Kumar Ji  murder case: Mohammad Shahid and Asaraf Zamal, surrendered before Town Police Station, Ara, on July 11, 2017. They were being  interrogated till the filling of this report. Shahid and Ashraf are brothers senior HAM (S) leader Danish Rizwan, also a named accused in the murder case.

On July, a notorious criminal and named accused in the murder acase, who was chargesheeted in Ara Civil Court Bomb ballast case, Chand Mian, had surrendered before the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ara, and forwarded to judicial custody. 

Krishna Kumar Singh alias Kumar Ji was shot dead in Padav locality near Model Institute under Town Police Station, Ara, at 11 am on July 2, 2017 when he was on way to his house. A named FIR was lodged with Town police station against 10 persons including senior HAM (S) leader Danish Rijwan, his brothers: Md Shahid and Zamal Asaraf, Munnu Singh, son of Deputy Mayor, Ara Municipal Corporation (AMC) Malati Devi, Indubhan Singh, former Bhojpur district president, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, notorious criminal Chand Mian and his brother Md Nayeem, on the statement of Mahesh Yadav of Bhaluhipur who was accompanying the deceased at the time of his murder.

Police had arrested seven unnamed accused in the case earlier. Police said that at least 23 persons are involved in the murder of the businessman. Police are also searching for Babloo and Budhua who worked as liners for the assailants.
