Patna: Two persons died on the spot while four others sustained serious injuries in separate accidents that took place in areas falling under the jurisdiction of Barun and Daudnagar police stations in Aurangabad district on Monday.

In the first mishap, Priyanka Kumari, a native of village Mau, was killed on the spot when the bike she was riding collided with a tractor at Keshav Mor under Barun police station. Her family members said that Priyanka was on way to a local market with her father on a bike. They said that as the bike reached near Keshav Mor, a speeding tractor coming from opposite side collided with the bike in which Priyanka was killed on the spot. However, her father escaped unhurt.

In another mishap, one Surendra Singh was killed on the spot while four others sustained injuries when the three-wheeler on which they were traveling collided with a local bus near village Repura under Daudnagar police station. The injured persons were identified as Sangeeta Devi, Puja Kumari, Rita Devi and Mahendra. They are undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
