Patna: Two members of a family were killed on the spot while four others sustained injuries when a three-wheeler on which they were travelling overturned on Barun-Nabinagar main road under Nabinagar police station in Aurangabad on September 30 night. The passengers of the auto were on way to Mahuadham under Nabinagar block from Nabinagar railway station.
The deceased were identified as Munna Ram and Manohar Ram, both residents of village Dawanpuir under Karwandiya police station in Rohtas district. The injured have been identified as Amrita Kumari, Sashi Devi, Deepak Kumar and Bhagi Devi. They are undergoing treatment at Nabinagar Referral Hospital.
On getting information, local police reached the spot. SHO, Nabinagar police station, Awadhesh Kumar, said that three-wheeler was carrying passengers beyond its capacity and its driver was drunk hence lost control of the vehicle.
