Ara : Two persons were killed when their motorcycle collided head on with a three -wheeler near Dhamania bridge under Garhani police station on Garhani-Agiaw main road in Bhojpur district on May 2, 2017, evening.
Police brought the bodies to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased were identified as Amit Pal, son of Laxman Pal of village Dhamania, and Ashok Pal, son of Vishwakarma Pal of village Harpur under Sikarhatta police station.
SHO, Garhnai police station, said Ashok Pal along with his brother-in-law (wife’s brother) Amit Pal had gone to village Ramdihara under Sandesh Police Station on May 2 to attend a marriage ceremony. They left the ceremony in the middle and returned in the late evening though the family members requested them to stay put there. When their motorcycle reached near Dhamania bridge, a speeding three- wheeler collided head-on with their bike killing them on the spot.
