Buxar: Five motorcycle borne unidentified armed miscreants fired and injured two persons including a primary agriculture credit society president of Khutaha block near Goalmbar under Industrial Police Station in Buxar district on Monday. The locals admitted the injured to a private clinic.
A named FIR has been lodged with Industrial Police station against four persons: Havaldar Singh, Rahul Singh, Sugriv Singh and Santosh Dubey of Manjharia village under Industrial police station, but no arrest has so far been made in this regard.
The SHO Industrial police station said that Gagan Singh, son of Birendra Singh of Manjharia village under Industrial police station, primary agriculture credit society president of Khutaha block, and Amod Upadhayay, son of Anil Upadhayay of the same village, were engaged in filling soil in a plot when five armed miscreants on two motorcycle came and started firing indiscriminately in which both of them were injured. Land dispute and panchayat election rivalry are said to be the cause behind the incident.
