Ara: Two persons including a teenage girl were seriously injured in a clash at village Rampur Milki under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district and admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital late Thursday evening.A named FIR has been lodged with Ara Muffassil police station but no arrest has so far been in this regard.
SHO Ara Muffassil police station said Mahendra Prasad, son of Shiv Tahal Paswan, along with some others thrashed his counsin Manoj Paswan, 40, son of Gopal Ram and his daughter Shweta Kumari, 15, at Rampur Milki under Ara Muffassil police station. He said Kunti Devi, wife of Mahendra Prasad, is contesting panchayat election for the post of mukhia from Rampur Milki panchayat and the incident took place merely to settle election rivalry.
