Two girls drown to death in pond in Buxar

Buxar : Two minor girls drowned in a pond near Brahmpur Shiv Temple under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district on May 15, 2017. The locals took them out of the pond and brought them over to a private clinic where the doctors declared them dead.

Puja Kumari, daughter of Punjabi Musahar, and Durgawati Kumari ,daughter of Visheshwar Musahar, both residents of Musahar Tola under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district, had gone to take bath in the pond near Brahmpur Shiv Temple. But, Puja slipped into the water and drowned. Seeing this, Durgawati tried to rescue her but she herself drowned.
