Two dozen persons injured in stone pelting in Buxar

Buxar /Ara : Over two dozen persons including five mediapersons and an official of Information and Public Relation Department (IPRD) when some anti-social elements  pelted the carcade of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar with stones on January 12, 2018, at Dumraon block in Buxar district. Divisional Commissioner and Zonal IG have reached Buxar and probing into the incident.

The injured were admitted to different hospitals while the IPRD official was brought over to  Ara Sadar hospital for  treatment. Civil Surgeon, Bhojpur, Dr Ras Bihari Singh refused to divulge his name.

In view of the incident in Buxar district, Bhojpur district administration became more alert as the CM is scheduled to visit village Dawa under of Jagdishpur block in Bhojpur district on January 13, 2018. Bhojpur DM Sanjeev Kumar and SP Awakash Kumar inspected the meeting venue. They askd the officials to remain alert.
