Two die, six ill after taking pesticide mixed tea in Kaimur

Bhabhua : Two persons died while six other fell ill after taking tea at Sotava village under Kudhani police station in Kaimur district on December 20. Some relatives had come to an elderly woman Dasauti Devi at Sotava village for marriage negotiation. She prepared tea for the guests but she by mistake added ‘Thymate’, a pesticide, instead of tea leaves and served the tea to the guests. After taking tea, all fell ill and were admitted to a private clinic at Ramgarh. Later Dasauti Devi, 65, and her daughter Suta Kuer, 44, died during treatment while Pramod Kumar, Vishal Kumar, Mantu Kumar, Mukesh Kumar and two others are struggling for their lives at the hospital.
