Bagaha: Two boys : Niraj Yadav, 8, son of Narendra Yadav, and Akhilesh Yadav, 12, son of Shambhu Yadav, of village Paschim Machaha under Bhitaha Police Outpost in Bagaha police district, drowned to death in a rivulet flowing near the village.
Their bodies were fished out on July 8, 2018, around 6 pm by villagers when other children, who were taking bath with them returned to their houses.
Machhaha panchayat Mukhiya Subhan Ansari said that the two boys had gone to take bath with other children but their legs suddenly slipped into deep water and drowned. Soon after the incident, villagers started searching for them. SHO, Bhitaha police station, Dinesh Kumar said that the bodies were handed over to the parents of the ceceased.
