Patna : A man and a minor boy were arrested on August 11, 2018, afternoon, around 2:30 pm with 70 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) during an ongoing vehicle checking drive in Sorangpur locality under Ramkrishna Nagar police station.
The arrested duo were identified as Naveen Kumar, 16, and Manish Kumar, 27, who were travelling by bus. They told police that a man at Hajipur in Vaishali distric had asked them to deliver the liquor bottles to a particular person at Patna. However, the name of the kingpin of the racket is yet to be ascertained. Both Manish and Naveen belong to Diwan Tola, Hajipur. SHO, Ramkrishna Nagar police station, said that raids are on to nab the kingpin at the earliest.
