Patna: Two persons were arrested by an Excise Team with 60 kg Ganja near Erka Colony under Amba police station in
Aurangabad district on Saturday. The team was led by Aurangabad Excise Superintendent Sudhir Kumar.

The Excise team intercepted a four-wheeler bearing the registration number of Uttar Pradesh sneaking into Aurangabad from neighbouring Jharkhand near Erka Colony. During checking of the four-wheeler, the Excise sleuths recovered 60 kg ganja hidden inside it.

Kumar said that the arrested persons had been identified as Bhim Kumar and Rajesh Singh, residents of Bhojpur and Buxar districts in Bihar respectively. He said that both the arrested persons were being interrogated to
elicit information about their connections in Jharkhand and Bihar.
