Ara: Bhojpur police, on a tip off, conducted raid at a restaurant on bypass on Ara-Patna main roadon Thursday afternoon on Thursday and arrested two persons and seized liquor in huge quantity.
SHO, Town Police Station, S K Sahi said that he was informed that liquor was being supplied from Raj restaurant on ation on Ara-Patna main road. He immediately raided the restaurant and arrested Amit Kumar of Chhazzanganj Bhaluhipur locality under Town PS and Nagmani of Gyanpur Semaria under Koelwar police station who lived at Moti Tola locality under Town police station. The police also seized 46 cans of liquor, 45 cans of bear and 34 bottles of whisky from the spot. The SHO said Nagmani had liquor license and he also ran Raj restaurant. Muder case cracked: With the arrest of one Rajesh Kumar Singh on late Wednesday evening on Wednesday from Orao village under Dhangai police station, Bhojpur police claim to solve the mystery of murder of a married woman. The woman was killed and police had recovered her body from the outskirt of village Dalippur under Dhangai police station on April 10, 2016.
SHO Dhangai police station Mohan Kumar said that Rita Devi of Babu English village under under Sikraul village in Buxar district was married to Ajay Kumar Singh of Bitanitola-Kukarhatta village under Koraon police station in Allahaad in Utter Pradesh in 2001. But, as she used to protest illicit relation of her husband with a woman , he hatched a plan to eliminate her. He took help of his cousin Rajesh Kumar Singh of Oraitola under Dhangai police station and killed her with a sharpedged weapon. Later, they threw the body on the outskirt of Dalippur village on April 10 last from where the police recovered the body and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
