Twin murder in broad daylight rocks Muzaffarpur Town, police remain clueless

Muzaffarpur  : Retired Assistant IG, Registration, Ajay Kumar Sharma, 64, and his wife Renu Devi, 58, were shot dead at their house by unidentified gunmen in Gyanlok locality under Bramhpura police station of Muzaffarpur town in North Bihar in broad daylight on January 8, 2020, exposing the law and order in Muzaffarpur District. The twin murder has created panic among the people as the news spread like wildfire in the town. Family friends, relatives, and the local rushed to the house  of the slain elderly couple after the incident.

City SP P K Mandal rushed to the spot with police force  and after preliminary inquiry called a team of FLS to seek its help in the investigation. The bodies were sent for post-mortem.  According to police, Ajay Kumar Sharma and Renu Devi were alone at their house when the assailants attacked them. The son of  Ajay Kumar Sharma  is an Advocate and was in the court. He rushed to his house after getting information about the murder of his parents.
