Bagaha : An irate mob of Goriapatti locality on blocked NH 28(b) near Chitrangada cinema with the  body of  Kanaihiya Sharma  on November 24, 2017, paralysing traffic for several hours. The mob was demanding an adequate compensation to the next of kin of the deceased Kanaihiya Sharma, who was seriously injured after a sugarcane laden truck dashed him on November 21 and died on November 23 during treatment at the hospital.
SDM, Bagaha, Ghanshyam Meena reached the spot with his subordinates and police officials and assured the protesters that the next of kin of the deceased will get adequate compensation under Labour Act and immediately handed over Rs 23,000 cash to his parents.
Kishan Sharma, the twin brother of Kanaihiya Sharma, both sons of Chhathu Sharma of Goriapatti locality under Bagaha Town police station, had died on November 21, 2017, after falling from a passenger train near Khairpokhara railway station on Narakatiaganj – Gorakhpur rail section under Samastipur Division of East Central Railways. Kanaihiya Sharma was injured a few hours after the  funeral of Kishan when a sugarcane laden truck dashed him.
