‘Tumhari Sulu’ collects Rs 19.78 cr in first week

Patna : Vidya Balan, Manav Kaul, Neha Dhupia starrer ‘Tumahri Sulu’ collected Rs 19.78 crore at the Box Office in its first week and likely to remain steady in the second week as week. The Suresh Triveni directed ‘ Tumhari Sulu’ is a comedy drama.

Sulochana alias Sulu, the lead character of the film, is a Mumbai housewife who gets a job of Radio Jockey (RJ). The production cost of the film was Rs 12 crore while the print and publicity cost was Rs 8 croe. The film can be termed a hit if its box office collection crosses Rs 25 crore. Vidya’s last couple of film including ‘Begum Jaan’ had failed to click at the box office.
