Patna : Novak Djokovic (9,865 points), Rafael Nadal (9,225 points), Roger Federer (7,130 points), Daniil Medveded (5,305 points), Dominic Thiem (4,415 points), Alexander Zverev (4,095 points), Stefanos Tsitsipas (3,420 points), and Kei Nishikori (3,330 points) remain World No 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 respectively in the ATP rankings released on September 23, 2019, but Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, France, the 2008 Australian Open finalist, has jumped 22 places to be ranked World No 39 with 1,185 points after winning the Moselle Open title at Metz, France, on September 22, 2019.

Aljaz Bedene, Slovenia, who lost to Tsonga in the Moselle Open final, has jumped 12 places to be ranked World No 64 with 915 points. John Millman, Australia, has jumped 15 places to be ranked World No 79 with 691 points after winning the ATP Kaohsiung Challenger title in Taiwan defeating Marc Polmans, Australia, on September 22, 2019.  Egor Gerasimov, Belarus, has jumped 21 places to be ranked World No 98 with 565 points after reaching the SFs of ATP St Petersburg Open.

Prajnesh Gunneswaran, India, has jumped 1 place and is ranked World No 81 with 662 points while Sumit Nagal, India, has slipped 2 places to be ranked World No 161 with 332 points. Ramkumar Ramnathan, India, has jumped 9 places to be ranked World No 170 with 304 points while Sasi Kumar Mukund, India, has jumped 6 places and is ranked World No 233 with 206 points. Saketh Myneni, India, has slipped 4 ladders to be ranked World No 261 with 178 points.
