Truck driver missing after reaching Gopalganj

Gopalganj: Two truck drivers fell unconscious near Sadar Hospital on December 25. One of them was admitted to the hospital while attempts were being made to locate the other.

Locals said that Allauddin Ansari and Vijay Ram, natives of village Surahiya under Sidhwaliya police station in Gotpalganj district and working as drivers in Delhi, reached Gopalganj on December 24 night. They also contacted their family members and informed them that they would stay on the verandah of Gopalganj Sadar Hospital as no  vehicle was available to reach them Surahiya.

Locals said that it seems that some anti-social elements drugged them and looted their belongings. On Sunday morning, the employees of Sadar Hospital informed their family members. The family members of Vijay Ram reached Sadar Hospital and took him back to his village. However, there was no trace of Allauddin. His family members have informed police about it.
