Police searching for 3 youth for uploading girl’s pic on WhatsApp

Gopalganj: Mahila police station, Gopalganj, is carrying out raids to arrest three youths, who were made accused by a girl for uploading her vulgar picture on WhatsAap. The girl, a native of Thawe Bazaar, had lodged an FIR with  police on December 24 evening.

The 14 year old girl, a resident of Videshi Tola under Thawe police station, alleged that three youths: Rupesh Kumar, Munna Kumar and Raju Yadav, all residents of Shiv Sthan, took her picture when she had gone to a local market near Shiv Sthan and uploaded her obscene picture on WhatsAap. She claimed that the picture was also sent on her brother’s cellphone.

The girl alleged that these three youths used to pass lewd comments on her and also molested her when she used to attend her coaching classes. She said that when she resisted their attempts, they took her picture and made an obscene video and uploaded it. The girl also told the police that earlier she had lodged a complaint with Thawe police station against the three youths for molesting her. She alleged that the three youths had also threatened her father of dire consequences after she had lodged a complaint against them. Her family members had stopped her from attending coaching classes after the video went viral.

Mahila police station SHO Sarita Kumari on Sunday said that stern action would be taken against the three youth. She said that the police had seized the girl’s cellphone and is inquiring all her Whatsap numbers.
