Truck driver dies as vehicle touches overhead electric wire

Vaishali:  A truck driver was roasted alive after the container vehicle that he was driving came in contact with over-head high tension wire at village Ghataro under Kartaha police station in Vaishali district at around 4 am on Tuesday. The movement of vehicles on Hajipur-Lalganj road was affected following the incident.  On getting information, the local police reached the spot and doused the flames. The body of the truck driver was sent to Hajipur Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Police officials said that efforts were on to trace the owner of the vehicle so that the identity of the deceased could be ascertained.
