Buxar : Police arrested one Vishambhar on May 1,2017, from village Baswar under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district in connection with a triple murder case. Later, police forwarded him to jail.
SHO, Brahmpur police station, Dayanand Singh said that Vishambhar slit the throat of his sister-in-law (bhabhi) Durgawati Devi, 34, wife of Heera Lal Paswan, his niece Ragini,1, and nephew Amit Paswan, 6, on April 1, 2017, when they were sleeping in their room at Baswar village under Brahmpur police station and escaped to Bhilwada in Rajasthan where he works in a private firm. The SHO said that he got information that Vishambhar had come to his native village after which police swung into action and arrested Vishambhar.
Sources said that Vishambhar tried to force his sister-in-law into having illicit relation with him and when she did not yield, he killed her along with her two minor children.
